Introduced last week, the Legault government’s Bill 96 entitled Act respecting the official and common language of Quebec, received attention. Some entrepreneurs in the region fear that this law will result in fines for their businesses, other citizens also fear that this bill does not go far enough to protect the French language.
Pontiac MNA André Fortin believes there is some good and some bad, but above all several things to be clarified. He discusses it in an interview.
