First business expo raises $5,590 for Centre de loisirs des Draveurs
The arena committee at the Centre de loisirs des draveurs in Fort-Coulonge held their first ever business expo on Saturday (May 4), raising $5,590 for the arena’s operation.
Organizer Heidi Newberry explained that they had 32 vendors this year, ranging from local municipalities and non-profits to construction companies, and estimated that there were several hundred attendees.
She said that the money they raised will go towards maintenance and upkeep at the arena.
