The Pontiac Chamber of Commerce is hosting its second annual Black-Tie Gala on February 17 at the Pontiac Conference Center (SpruceHolme) in Fort-Coulonge. The president of the Pontiac Chamber of Commerce, Sébastien Bonnerot, spoke to CHIP 101.9 about the importance of the event for the business community in the area.
Tickets for this “Black Tie Gala” are $75 (excluding tax, $93.38 total) and as the name suggests, people are encouraged to dress classy and tastefully.
Bonnerot added that each person in the MRC Pontiac business community is only one degree of separation from each other, and that it’s important to remember that when you buy locally, you’re helping your neighbours, your pharmacist, your doctor, your local teacher and everyone that works and lives here in the Pontiac. “To keep our community alive and thriving,” Bonnerot says.
All Proceed raised during the Black-Tie Gala will go directly towards helping businesses in the Pontiac.
