Police seek public’s help in search for man missing since last year
The Sûreté du Québec is again requesting the public’s help in the search for an Ottawa man who went missing near Ladysmith last year.
Michael Scandiffio, 57, of Gloucester was last seen on October 1, 2022 in the Ladysmith area. He was driving a black 2017 Ford Escape with the Ontario license plate BNXP 701 (picture below). At the time, there were many searches carried out in the area, but police are asking that anyone entering the forest in that region (hunters, forestry workers) to look out for his vehicle.
Any information on this case can be sent confidentially to the Sûreté du Québec’s Criminal Information Center, at 1-800-659-4264.
