Local papers recognized by Quebec Community Newspapers Association
The region’s two newspapers, The Equity and Journal du Pontiac, won a number of awards at the Quebec Community Newspapers Association (QCNA) Gala in Gatineau on Friday. The QCNA represents English-language community newspapers in Quebec. Among the winners, François Carrier, CHIP 101.9 director and editorial writer for the Pontiac Journal, was the only nominee in the Best French Language Editorial category.
