Portage bridge open this week, overnight closures coming in July

Ontario Power Generation has adjusted the schedule for closures on the interprovincial bridge near the Chenaux Generating Station in Portage-du-Fort. While OPG had previously announced closures from Monday to Thursday this week, those dates have been removed and their website now only lists three weeks of closures in July.

The bridge will be closed between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. on the following dates:

• July 10, 11, 12, 13
• July 17, 18, 19, 20
• July 24, 25, 26, 27

Note that the schedule is always subject to change, and residents should check their website frequently for an up-to-date list of closures.
