ArtPontiac president discusses upcoming activities

Local artists’ organization artPontiac has a full schedule coming up this spring and summer, and president Cheryl Beillard spoke with CHIP 101.9 about what they had in store. Coming up on the first of May, they will be hosting a professional development day at Café 349 in Shawville, and the featured speaker will be Canada’s Dominion Sculptor Jean-Philippe Smith. Space is limited and registration is required. The group will also be holding a gala opening at the Stone School Gallery in Portage-du-Fort on June 2, celebrating one of their founding members Ruby Ewen.
