Ottawa River Regulation Planning Board first update on 2023 Spring Runoff

The Ottawa River Regulation Planning Board just published its first forecasts for the spring freshet on its website. Although the spring runoff hasn’t started, the Board is now starting to monitor water levels and northern snow levels and water flows.

“ Water levels and flows in most places along the Ottawa River are close to seasonal values and should remain rather stable over the next week ”, the ORRPB wrote on its website. The ORRPB is expected to update the population again on March 14.
