Environment Canada: snow starting Thursday evening
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the Pontiac region, as a low pressure system is intensifying and heading for the province.
“More sustained snow will gradually start on Thursday evening over Southwestern Quebec before reaching the remaining areas of Central and Eastern Quebec on Friday morning,” it reads. “Significant amounts of snow and blowing snow are expected over several regions of Quebec through Saturday. Expect hazardous driving conditions due to visibilities that could rapidly go from good to nil.”
