A marquee will be permanently set up next summer in Mansfield

Thanks to the MRC Pontiac’s Fonds régions et ruralité the Municipality of Mansfield-et-Pontefract and the Aventure Hélianthe will be permanently installing a marquee to organize activities.

Representing the organization Phare Ouest organization and the Municipality of Mansfield-et-Pontefract, Louis Harvey confirmed that the Marquee will be first be installed at the baseball field and then moved to the Pont-Blanc beach.

“We submitted a project to obtain funds geared towards economic development, meaning a marquee. This marquee will be used to support of various activities, We will be able host different events or different groups within the Tent. So it’s going to be really a development tool. ,” Harvey says. “It will be installed in two places each year. At the ball field from May to July and then from July to about September 15, it’ll be set up at the Pont-Blanc beach.”
