On Monday, the newly announced candidate for the CAQ in the Pontiac riding, Corinne Canuel-Jolicoeur, met with MRC Pontiac Warden Jane Toller to discuss local issues and the council’s priorities ahead of this fall’s provincial election. They also met with Pro-Warden and Mansfield-et-Pontefract Mayor Sandra Armstrong.

Speaking after the council of mayors meeting on Wednesday evening, Toller said that she highlighted some of the challenges facing the Pontiac, from retaining and training local workers, to improving the health of the region’s residents. She noted that Canuel-Jolicoeur’s husband’s family hails from Fort-Coulonge.

The full interview with Toller (5m50) is available here.
