Francoeur Restaurant pizza-bar opens on rue Hérault in Mansfield

Restaurant Francoeur will now be known as the Restaurant Francoeur pizza-bar and is changing locations to 235 rue Hérault in Mansfield-et-Pontefract. Owner Chantal Sirard explained that while some aspects of the business are changing, they wanted to keep the name that locals will recognize.

“Restaurant Francoeur not only changed location, but changed its name to restaurant Francoeur pizza-bar, because the name, Restaurant Francoeur, has been part of the community since 1972,” she said (translated). “So, at the request of the population, we kept the name Restaurant Francoeur, but the addition of Pizza-bar means that above all, it is now a bar. So to eat inside, the age is 18+. So, the location is at 235, rue Hérault in Mansfield which is on the same street as the Métro, CLSC and soon, the Caisse Populaire.”

Even if the establishment becomes part of a bar, in summer the restaurant will be accessible to those under 18, thanks to the patio that will be installed. For the moment, they have take-out and a new delivery service available.
