Small increase in cases at the Manoir Sacré-Coeur
There has been a slight increase in the number of active COVID-19 cases among the residents of CHSLD Manoir Sacré-Coeur in Mansfield, according to an update from the CISSSO.
CHIP 101.9 broke the news of the outbreak at the long-term care facility on Friday (January 14), when it was reported that 21 of the home’s 40 residents had tested positive. Also, 19 staff members were also positive and isolating.
Today, there are 34 active cases among residents and more than 20 staff are isolating. However, CISSSO media relations agent Patricia Rhéaume noted that there had been no hospitalizations associated with the outbreak and staff had been brought in from other sectors to lend a hand.
