Phare Ouest screening the film Délicieux at Café Dowtown

The Phare Ouest organization will be screening the film Délicieux on December 14 at 7 p.m. at Café Downtown in Fort-Coulonge. This period film celebrating fine cuisine takes place on the eve of the French Revolution, featuring a cook who lost his job with a demanding and contemptuous duke. After an encounter with a with a mysterious woman who insists on becoming his apprentice, he rediscovers the taste of a cooking. Together, they will set up what will become the first restaurant. As Louis Harvey of Phare Ouest explains, the screening will be augumented by an adapted menu from the café.
