Museum coming to the George Bryson House in October

25 August 2021 à 12:00 am

The George Bryson House committee held their annual general meeting on August 10, where members discussed the projects and accomplishments of the previous year. The regional museum project has gained momentum and likely come to fruition in the near future.

“Despite the pandemic, we have made great progress and we have already received material to start exhibitions. We should be ready by October to start welcoming visitors,” said committee President Sandra Armstrong (translated).

The George Bryson House will be a part of this regional museum for the Outaouais, housing objects and artifacts reflecting the history of the Pontiac. The house has already received a donation from Pontiac Warden Jane Toller, who gave a hat belonging to none other than politician and businessman George Bryson.
