Federal election debate for the Pontiac riding on August 25
CHIP 101.9 is organizing a debate between the candidates for the federal election in the Pontiac riding, which will take place Wednesday August 25 at the Pontiac Conference Centre in Fort Coulonge. The exact start time will be announced shortly.
Sophie Chatel of the Liberal Party, Denise Giroux of the NDP, Michel Gauthier of the Conservatives and Shaughn McArthur of the Green Party have confirmed their attendance. The event will be published to CHIP’s Facebook page and a radio presentation will be broadcast Thursday August 26, in French around noon and on the Drive program in English (around 5:30 p.m.).
Due to public health measures, only about 30 members of the public will be admitted to the event, and a ticket will be required to get in the door. Those who would like to reserve a space can email dg@dev.chipfm.com to make a request.
