Deadline approaching to register for vaccine lottery

Over the next few days, Quebecers who have received at least one vaccine dose can register for the province’s « Being vaccinated, it’s a win » contest for a chance to win cash (or a bursary for those 12 to 17).

Every Friday in August, there is a chance to win a jackpot $150,000 or one of 2 bursaries of $10,000 for the younger crowd. On September 3, there will be a draw for 16 bursaries of $20,000 for students that have been fully vaccinated and a grand prize of $1,000,000 for an adult who has been fully vaccinated.

The names of the winners will be announced Tuesdays after the draw, at 1 p.m., and the winners of the September 3 draw will be announced the day of the draw.

In order to qualify for the draws, Quebecers must register on the contest website by 11:59 p.m. the night before. For the September 3 finale, registration must be completed by August 31 at 11:59 p.m. Participants must receive their first dose before August 3, or their second before August 31 inclusive, in order to register. Only one registration is required for all the draws.
