More positive cases of COVID-19 at the Poupore pavilion

Proof that the toll of COVID-19 in the Pontiac has never been higher since the start of the pandemic, the letters of confirmation for positive cases at the Poupore pavilion of the École des Petits-Ponts have accumulated in the last few days.

Indeed, even if classes are currently held virtually, communications have been published regularly to notify the parents of children attending the Poupore pavilion in Fort-Coulonge.

“Another positive COVID-19 test result has been reported in our school. The student in question did not attend school during his period of infection. All the same, the School Service Center and the school are in communication with the public health authorities of the Outaouais and follow their directives and recommendations carefully, “said director Stéphane Bouchard.

Remember that this week, the Legault government announced the extension of health measures and that the closure of schools has been extended at least until May 3. Letters regarding COVID-19 cases from students attending Poupore pavillion are available here.
