The MP for Pontiac, William Amos, commented on the Connection Fibre Picanoc project which hopes to obtain the necessary funding for the implementation of the project to offer high speed Internet to all Pontiac residents who currently do not have access. The MP for Pontiac reminded everyone that it was still his number one priority in the Pontiac.

Last week, Connexion Fibre Picanoc organized a meeting with the elected officials of the MRC Pontiac and various stakeholders to further explain the project in the community. The project that CFP wishes to set up will have a scale of more than 3,600 kilometers and will be able to connect to the Internet more than 10,000 underserved buildings.
