Sieur-de-Coulonge High School (ESSC) student Maxime Fortin received the Governor General’s Academic Medal for having obtained the highest average at the end of his secondary studies at ESSC.

This medal is one of the most prestigious honors available to students and students of Canadian educational institutions. A bronze medal is awarded annually by the high school.
