Public security of the MRC des Collines de l’Outaouais names of the vitctims of the Sunday’s fatal Collision

The Public security of the MRC des Collines de l’Outaouais has revealed the identities of the two victims of the fatal collision which occurred Sunday on highway 148 in the Quyon sector.

They were identified as Todd Vibert, 23, of Campbell’s Bay, and Karine Marion, 22, of Fort-Coulonge.

According to the Public security of the MRC des Collines de l’Outaouais, the exact cause of the accident has yet to be determined by investigators, to explain the sudden lane change of the vehicle.

The others injured in this accident are currently hospitalized with serious bodily injuries. An inspection of the victims vehicle and other procedures are planned later this week, which could allow investigators to better understand the events that occurred.

For the last few hours, residents of Pontiac and the surrounding area have been offering their condolences to the families of the victims and have shared a candle in memory of Todd Vibert and Karine Marion.
