During an interview with CHIP 101.9, the mayor of Fort-Coulonge, Gaston Allard, said that he regularly gets approached by the public on the issue of the use of the bike bath (PPJ). Allard sits on the PPJ committee at the MRC Pontiac which is currently examining the use of the bike path and according to him, it is the responsibility of the mayors on the committee to look into the possibilities of PPJ, such as making it a multi-use pathway, or finding other solutions for the trail.
