Operational Integrated Forest Management Plan (PAFIO): Consultations on July 31, 2017
From July 31st to August 18th, a public consultation period will be held at the Pontiac MRC office on the Integrated Operational Forest Management Plan (PAFIO), with the goal of obtaining input on the proposed forest planning from the public.
The Integrated Operational Forest Management Plan describes the forestry interventions that the Pontiac MRC Forest Service intends to carry out on municipal public land (TPI) over the next few years, such as logging, tree planting, Pre-commercial thinning and locations selection.
A copy of the Plan is available at the Pontiac MRC office from Monday to Friday between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm and on the Pontiac MRC website.
