Police still searching for missing Ottawa man in Pontiac

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) emailed a follow-up report to media regarding the disappearance of Michael Scandiffio, 57, of Ottawa, Ontario. He was last seen in Ladysmith on October 1, driving a black 2017 Ford Escape SUV with an Ontario license plate BNXP701, and was headed in the direction of Otter Lake.

The SQ has gone door to door and conducted searches in the area. More recently, they flew their helicopter over the area yesterday.

Anyone who sees Michael Scandiffio is asked to contact 911. In addition, any information that could help find him can be communicated confidentially to the SQ at 1-800-659- 4264.
