Pontiac; Partial change in mandatory evacuation notice
Pontiac; Partial change in mandatory evacuation notice
Following an inspection of the roads affected by the floods, the Municipality of Pontiac revised the status of certain roads and the scope of its evacuation notice. Some roads are considered partially practicable.
Residents can use them carefully and must respect any barricades that will be repositioned according to the state of the route.
Residents can go to their homes whenever possible and take appropriate recovery measures. However, some roads remain unsafe for vehicular traffic: especially the Dion, Stanley and Bord-de-l’eau roads.
It should be noted that the hiring of a master electrician for the inspection of electrical installations could be covered by the Compensation Program of the Ministry of Public Security.
