The flood waters of the Ottawa River have forced many people in the Pontiac to evacuate their homes in recent days. Most evacuated voluntarily. The morale is nevertheless good given the mutual aid of the community to the victims.

As an eco-responsible resident, certain actions can be taken to prevent losses and damage when flooding occurs. Josey Bouchard reminds everybody the importance of tying down your belongings especially boats:
